In Pictures: Limerick club get their glad rags on for fashion and lifestyle event

INSTEAD of strolling along the greens, models will be strutting their stuff on the catwalk at Ballyneety Golf Club for a fundraising event next month.

South Liberties GAA Club are hosting a night of fun and style on Friday, February 9 at 7pm to raise money for the building of a ball wall at Dooley Park.

The Fashion and Lifestyle Event isn’t just about fashion as it will also feature make-up demos, pop-up shops and goody bags.

Fiona Hayes, a renowned stylist, will be hosting the event with tickets available now via Eventbrite.

Speaking at the launch event, John Godfrey, chairman of the club, expressed his thanks and gratitude for all who made this event come to fruition.

He said what started as a word in passing at a meeting last year has now flourished into a community occasion.

“A huge thanks goes out to all the sponsors, all committee members, stylist and models as well as all at Ballyneety Golf Club who put on this spectacle of style.

“All in South Liberties are delighted that such a colourful night for so many to enjoy is taking place and would like to wish all those who will attend a wonderful celebration of style.”
