Kapil Dev took to Facebook, about the changing times of Indian cricket. The maiden World Cup win in 1983 was a benchmark, and more important than any other.
1983 World Cup-winning skipper on Monday revealed the match fees awarded to players during the tournament. A total of 2100 Indian Rupees was given to players as total match-fee allowance. This included a daily-allowance of 200 Rupees for three days, and 1500 for playing the game.
