Inside Arne Slot’s 5 star getaway ahead of official unveiling
Liverpool FC fans are excited as Arne Slot’s first interview as head coach will be released today.
The Dutchman took charge of the Reds on June 1, but his official appointment was quietly announced with a short message and an article detailing the managerial history of the club. The former Feyenoord boss has sparked questions from supporters about when they would finally hear from Slot as he was spotted on Merseyside last month and also enjoyed a meal at Aughton’s Moor Hall.
However, supporters won’t need to wait much longer as his first interview will be published at 4pm today. Since he officially took over, Slot has enjoyed a luxury getaway abroad to recharge the batteries as a hectic Premier League season awaits.

The 45-year-old was pictured soaking in the sunshine during a trip to Ibiza this month. The photos were shared by his daughter, Isa Slot, as the family enjoyed a trip to the Spanish Island.
Slot appeared on a photo with his wife, Mirjam, and their daughter Isa, as they sat by the pool of their luxury hotel. Isa captioned the post: “With the parents.”
Further updates shared by Isa have revealed the family was staying at 5-star hotel, OKU Ibiza. The luxury retreat is located among the foothills just moments from Cala Gracio Bay. During the summer, rates on Booking.com for a deluxe room start at £440 per night.
However, there are more premium options available with an OKU Signature Suite boasting its own panoramic terrace and DJ booth. There is also a private villa available with its own bar and swimming pool.
Isa’s updates revealed the family enjoyed a relaxing afternoon in the sun with a bottle of Moet Champagne on ice.
She also shared snaps at the luxury Zuma restaurant, which offers contemporary Japanese cuisine and amazing views of the marina. Isa also shared photographs with incredible views of Sant Josep and enjoying a trip to Formantera.
She posted a post on a boat sailing across the Mediterranean Sea with her 22,400 Instagram followers with the caption: “Boat day.”
Slot now appears to be back from his trip abroad as his interview will be released today. The club have confirmed Slot is set to discuss: “his decision to join the Reds, replacing Jurgen Klopp, his plans for pre-season, how much he’s looking forward to getting to work, and the conversations he’s had with a number of the players since officially taking post on June 1.”
His official unveiling to the media is still expected to take place at the start of July ahead of the Liverpool first team reporting back to the AXA Training Centre.
