International fashion brand could be set to open Southampton store

An international fashion brand could be coming to Southampton after advertising for jobs.

Mango is seeking people to fill four positions at a new store, which would be the first in the city.

The jobs – listed on Indeed – are believed to be based at Westquay, with the roles listed at Harbour Parade.

But the shopping centre is keeping its lips sealed when it comes to revealing news about the potential new arrival.

The Spanish clothing brand is seeking a store manager, assistant store manager, floor manager, and visual merchandiser.

The job adverts read: “At Mango we inspire and we unite through our passion for style and culture.

“We are present in more than 115 countries and our online presence extends to more than 110 countries.

“Our team is made up of people of 112 nationalities and 78 per cent of them are women.”

It comes after Westquay confirmed stationery store Flying Tiger was being relocated within the shopping centre.

This was to make way for a new ‘international brand’.
