Investigation underway as male hospitalised following assault
An investigation is underway after a male was assaulted on Dublin’s Sheriff Street.
The male, in his 30s, was assaulted at around 11pm, on Saturday, June 1.
He was taken to hospital where he received treatment for his injuries – which are not believed to be life-threatening.

Following the assault, gardai cordoned off the area for an examination. No arrests have been made and gardai have launched an investigation.
In a statement, An Garda Siochana said: “Gardai are investigating an assault which occurred on Sheriff Street in Dublin 1 at approximately 11pm on Saturday, June 1.
“A man in his 30s later received treatment for injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
“No arrests have been made. Investigations ongoing,” the statement said.
