Ireland AM’s Karen Koster gets ‘absolutely soaked’ at Dublin Pride parade

IRELAND AM star Karen Koster has said “you can’t rain on our parade” after sharing snaps from “dreary” Dublin Pride.

The Virgin Media host took to Dublin‘s O’Connell Street early this morning to film a Dublin Pride segment for Ireland AM.

Karen posted some snaps to her Instagram story throughout the day and emphasised just how harsh the weather was.

In a short clip, a drenched Karen held up a colourful umbrella as the rain pelted down.

She said: “Guys I am absolutely soaked on O’Connell Street today as we gear up for the start of Dublin Pride Parade.”

The Dublin star gave a big smile to the camera whilst having a positive outlook on the situation as she added: “It’s miserable here, but we don’t care.”

In another picture, the popular presenter stood in front of a TV monitor with a microphone and an Ireland AM umbrella.

The stylish lady donned a cute denim mini skirt, yellow t-shirt and an army print jacket.

She tied the look together with some biker boots and a sequinned leather belt.

Karen beamed in the picture as her caption said: “Happy Pride from a damp & dreary O’Connell St @irelandamvmtv.

“But you cannot rain on our parade! Here til 1pm to celebrate Dublin Pride.”

After the parade, the 43-year-old shared a picture of her finger tips which had became wrinkled from all the heavy rain.

She said: “How it’s going… fingers shrivelled, it’s like I was in the bath for too long.”

Fans and famous pals all ran to the Instagram comments to share some love for the star after getting drenched at the parade.

‘Pure posh’

Fellow Ireland AM host Muireann O’Connell joked: “A branded umbrella… you’re pure posh.”

Vivienne said: “Awh Karen you still look amazing.”

Mairead gushed: “Looking great Karen.”

And Martin commented: “No matter how dreary still a great day.”

The Ireland AM host had been back on air earlier this week alongside Elaine Crowley and Martin King.

And Karen lit up the studio in a “stunning” summer dress and fans all called her “gorgeous”.

Dreamy dress

Karen is known for rocking some seriously stylish looks on air and today was no different.

The mum-of-three took to Instagram after the show to share some outfit details with her followers.

The 43-year-old look stunning as she posed on the set in a yellow mini dress.

The fabulous piece had long sleeves, a v-neckline and white floral details printed throughout.

Karen revealed that she picked her outfit up from FeeG and it is part of award winning fashion designer Fiona Heaney’s collection.
