Irish woman bags Range Rover for just €2 as people applaud ‘smart’ buying plan

An Irish woman managed to bag herself a top-of-the-line Range Rover for less than a cup of coffee.

Keeley Greene from Sligo was the latest winner from Ooosch Giveaways and lucked out by winning a 2020 Land Rover Defender last Wednesday for just €1.99.

Unsurprisingly, not even the poor weather put a dampener on the day as Keeley was all smiles when they handed over the keys.

In a post on Facebook, the folks at Ooosch giveaways posted: “Earlier today the OOOSCH team made the trip up to County Sligo to meet Keeley Greene who won our 2020 Land Rover Defender last Wednesday for just €1.99.”

“Not even the rain could wipe the smile off her face! Great to meet you and your lovely family today Keeley and what an unbelievable win! Stay tuned because tomorrow night we are launching something special! —you could be next!”

Ooosch giveaways are known around Ireland for some pretty incredible jackpot prizes. Just last month a Galway woman was left speechless after bagging thousands of euro worth of prizes.

Judita Kasiliauskaite from Co. Galway managed to win a BMW X5, BMW 520d, €10,000 cash, and a trip to the Monaco F1 GP. In a video posted to social media after the draw, one of Ooosch’s representatives explained that he couldn’t get a hold of Judita over the phone during the live stream of the draw but had her on the line currently.

“I’m at work currently in a cleaner and I saw the phone ringing and thought it was probably just a spam call so I was like I’m not going to bother picking it up,” Judita said.

The rep replied: “Well, I can tell you Judita that there’s no spam here. You bought a ticket for a 300 grand BMW double bubble and your number came out on top of the pile tonight.”

“You’ve just bagged yourself a 2021 BMW X5 M Sport Pro and 2020 BMW 520 D M Sport, €10,000 tax-free cash, and a trip for two to the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Monaco. I don’t know how you’re going to work the rest of your shift.”

“Oh my f****ing god”, Judita replied when she heard the full prize list.

“This is the biggest competition so far this year and one of the biggest we’ve ever done and you are now joining the Ooosch hall of fame.”
