IU basketball recruiting: Hoosiers offer 2025 SG Davis Fogle

For the second time this week, Indiana showed they are not done advancing their efforts with class of 2025 prospects.

On Saturday, top-75 rising senior shooting guard Davis Fogle announced an offer from IU.

With the full IU staff in attendance at the NBPA Top-100 Camp in Florida, Fogle was widely viewed as one of the best players at the event.

Fogle is a 4-star, and the No. 17 shooting guard in the class according to the On3 Industry Average.

Fogle averaged 31.4 points, 9.7 rebounds and 2.2 blocks per game his junior season at Anacortes H.S. in Anacortes, Wash. He averaged 24.6 points per game his sophomore season.

The 6-foot-6 Fogle is transferring to national prep powerhouse AZ Compass Prep for his senior high school season.  He plays for Seattle Select on the UAA Circuit for spring and summer.

So far Fogle has taken an official visit to Nebraska.  He’s headed to Gonzaga later this month.  Creighton and Kansas are key players as well.  Gonzaga, Creighton and Kansas are all offers that have come in over the last couple months.

Indiana is not a new player in this recruitment.  They’ve been involved for over a year at this point.  And IU is a school that matters to him.  Last summer he told 247Sports national analyst Travis Branham he holds the Hoosiers in high esteem.

“Definitely Indiana and Duke are my two dream schools,” he told Branham. “Just working hard and it would be great to get to that level.”

Fogle’s mom, Amy, is from the Midwest and a former standout player at Southern Illinois University. She scored 1,538 career points, which ranked third on the all-time SIU list at the time of her graduation. She was also fourth in rebounding with 945. Her jersey number 34 was retired by SIU in 2020.
