Jennifer Lopez Looks All Business at Family Lunch in a Tailored Shirt and Pinstripe Pants

Jennifer Lopez looked prepped and polished as she took her child Emme out for lunch in Los Angeles.

For the occasion, the Atlas actor dressed up in Christian Dior. She wore a crisp white button-up shirt from the label, taking care to show off its puffy sleeves and small navy “CD” logo. She styled the luxe top with a pair of high-rise pinstripe trousers, which were tailored at the waist to create pleats in the pants. In a rare move for Lopez—a serious heel enthusiast—she finished off her look with black satin square-toe ballet flats that featured a small bow and pearl detail and laced up the actor’s leg.

Being J.Lo, of course, she added some extravagant accessories to her outfit. Her waist was cinched by a skinny black leather belt, and she shaded her eyes with a pair of statement black square sunglasses. In one French-manicured hand, she carried a small black crocodile Birkin that presumably cost more than everything else she was wearing (combined). The other hand, meanwhile, showed off her wedding ring to dispel rumors of a split with husband Ben Affleck. Large gold hoop earrings completed her outfit.

Emme, who is nonbinary, went for a more low key lunch look. The 16-year-old layered a tan plaid button-up shirt over a fun graphic tee, and matched their top with khaki cargo pants. They also wore a stack of colorful beaded bracelets and rounded eyeglasses. A furry backpack with a plush wolf on the back finished off their quirky look.

Lopez has kept busy in the last few months, despite canceling her summer tour. Between promoting her new movie Atlas, vacationing in Europe, and launching a margarita drink under her cocktail brand Delola, the star has been hustling over the last few months. She recently opened up to Bazaar about her new venture, and what inspired her to launch it.

“People love a margarita. We all love an occasional margarita. And we wanted to create a ready-to-enjoy option, since we all know that making a margarita from scratch takes a little bit of effort and it’s a little bit of a mess,” she said.

Reflecting on the mission behind Delola, she added, “For me, it’s the drink that was missing for somebody who’s a light drinker. Cocktails always seemed so heavy to me—it seemed like so much alcohol content, so much sugar, so many calories, you know? It just wasn’t right for me. And that’s why I decided to create something that felt right for me, and that I think a lot of other people will appreciate.”
