Job Fair in Limerick next week

Employment and Education Opportunities at Limerick Jobs Fair

A second Jobs Fair will take place next week in one of Limerick’s four regeneration areas. This time it’s happening on Wednesday (12th June) in Ballinacurra Weston.

Our Lady of Lourdes National School in Rosbrien will welcome more than 20 employers, educational bodies and other agencies from the Mid-West region.

Locals can meet employers, agencies and training bodies at the Jobs Fair, and learn about further education and training opportunities available.

The Mayor of the City and County of Limerick, Cllr Gerald Mitchell is delighted to see the Jobs Fair return to the Ballinacurra Weston area. He said, “This is another opportunity for employers to engage directly with the public. I am always thrilled to learn of the positive employment stories as a direct result of this Outreach to Employment Programme”

Future Jobs Fairs are planned for Southill and St. Mary’s Park later this year.

Director of Regeneration, Sports and Recreation at Limerick City and County Council, Joe Delaney said, “We are thrilled to see the return of many employers and educational bodies to Ballinacurra Weston. We look forward to welcoming them to this event.”

The Jobs Fair is part of Limerick Regeneration’s Outreach to Employment initiative connecting local residents directly to employment and training opportunities.

The Limerick Jobs Fair takes place at Our Lady of Lourdes National School, Rosbrien, Eircode V94Y6N9 next Wednesday, 12 June 2024, from 6pm-8pm.
