The couple, who got married last year, welcomed a baby boy this week.
Irish rugby star Joey Carberry’s wife Robyn Flanagan has said that their newborn baby has “changed their lives forever” as she revealed his name for the first time.
The couple, who got married last year, welcomed a baby boy this week and shared the exciting news on Instagram with a sweet photo.
“You’re finally here. Welcome to the world our beautiful baby boy,” Robyn wrote.
On Tuesday, she revealed that the pair had named their little tot Beau Carbery as she posted two gorgeous black and white photos of him in a white baby grow.
“Beau Carbery, you have changed our world forever,” she said alongside a blue heart emoji.
Joey and Robyn revealed they were expecting their first child on St Stephen’s Day.
“We’re having a baby and we couldn’t be happier,” Robyn wrote on Instagram at the time.
Several friends and followers have congratulated the couple on the arrival of their baby boy on social media.
Ireland rugby star Finlay Bealham said: “Congrats guys”.
Munster centre Rory Scannell added: “Congratulations guys”.
One person said: “Oh wow – he’s absolutely gorgeous Robyn! Huge congratulations to you and Joey.”
“Robyn massive congratulations to you both, he is only beautiful, cannot wait to meet the little man. Welcome to motherhood,” another Instagram user added.
The former Leinster player and Robyn tied the knot at Dublin City Hall in May last year and later held a bigger celebration for friends and family in Spain.
The couple had a star-studded and lavish wedding in Marbella over the June Bank Holiday weekend in 2023, where many of Carbery’s Munster and Ireland teammates attended the celebration, including Tadhg Beirne and his wife Harriet.
