Julia Roberts, 56, only has eyes for her husband Danny Moder, 55
Julia Roberts was seen cuddling up to her husband of 22 years on Sunday.
The lovebirds were at the men’s singles final at the Wimbledon Tennis Championships at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London. They were in the VIP box during Carlos Alcaraz’s victory against Novak Djokovic.
The Pretty Woman actress leaned in to chat with her spouse and then put her arm around his in a show of intimacy while at the Centre Court.
The 56-year-old actress and the cinematographer, 55, have been together since year 2000 when they met on the set of the Brad Pitt movie The Mexican.
They wed two years later and have three children together: twins Hazel and Phinnaeus, 19, and son Henry, 17.
Also at Wimbledon were Tom Cruise – who was only three seats away at Wimbledon – as well as Courteney Cox and Zendaya.
Julia also shared a photo from the sporting event on Instagram.
She had her hand on his arm as they stood next to black belt world champion Gay Cobham who worked with Roberts on Leave the World Behind (2023). He has also appeared in Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones (2002) and August: Osage County (2013).
Her caption read: ‘An incredible day at Wimbledon!’
Julia wore a white Gucci tennis dress with red accents as she held onto an orange Gucci purse. She added sunglasses and her blonde hair was down.
Danny was dapper in a dark blue suit while modeling Ray-Ban sunglasses.
This comes after she wished him a happy 55th birthday in late January.
‘Happy Birthday to this amazing man who lights up our world,’ she captioned the post.
She added several glittering emojis, lightning bolts, and a hashtag referencing his date of birth, ‘131.’
The precious photo captured Julia snuggled against her spouse as they gazed lovingly at one another.
Julia appeared to be serving as photographer as she seemingly outstretched her arms to capture the snap.
Last year she praised her other half as ‘the captain of our ship’ during an appearance on The Today Show.
‘Well, it all starts with Danny Moder, you know?’ she gushed to Hoda Kotb.
‘He’s just really our anchor and our person. And in the most beautiful way, the captain of our ship, you know, truly.’
The Georgia native then joked that she doesn’t necessarily give her partner all the credit for their amazing home life.
‘And it’s not, like, giving it all away to him,’ she added.
‘It’s just that for me, understanding how deeply felt life could be really started with him.’
Julia and Danny met on the set of The Mexican in 2000, where she was acting alongside Brad Pitt, and he was working as a cameraman.
At the time, Julia was dating Benjamin Bratt, while Danny was married to makeup artist Vera Steimberg.
‘I could see how wonderful he was, but we were both in relationships at the time, so we were just friends,’ Julia revealed in 2003 during an interview with Oprah Winfrey.
The pair eventually split from their respective partners before romance blossomed.
‘He sorted his whole thing out, separate and apart from me,’ she explained to Oprah. ‘And I sorted my life out, separate and apart from him. I think that’s the only reason we were able to ultimately fall in love with each other and be together.’
They tied the knot in 2002 in a secret ceremony at Roberts’ ranch near Taos, New Mexico.
During her interview with Hoda, Julia revealed how she is parenting two kids in college, and one who will soon be off to college.
‘I parent them the same way out of the house that I parented them in the house,’ she said. ‘”Are you getting enough sleep? And you sound like you’re sick. And are you drinking tea? And text me when you get home.”‘
Julia also explained how they keep in touch while they are away from home.
‘We all were on a FaceTime the other day together, all of us. And it was, like, this gift that we had, these four minutes of us all looking at each other. We were all so happy to be together in that way,’ she said.
When asked in 2022 on how she defied the Hollywood odds with her decades-long marriage, Julia told E! News: ‘I always say that same thing and I’m sticking with it. It’s making out. Lots of making out.’
