Kate Nash is ‘secretly engaged’ to her childhood sweetheart
Kate Nash has reportedly got ‘secretly engaged’ to her long-term boyfriend Thomas Silverman.
The Foundation’s singer, 36, is said to have found her happy ending as she is planning to tie the knot by the end of the year, according to the Sun.
Her exciting news comes as the songstress is set to make a comeback with her new album, 9 Sad Symphonies, in June.
A source told the publication: ‘Kate and Tom are engaged and are planning to get married later this year.
‘They couldn’t be happier and are such a lovely couple.
‘They have been quietly dating for several years and actually met when they were at school.’
The couple’s pals believe the blossoming of their childhood romance was down to ‘fate’ and said they are ‘great’ together.
Previously Kate has been smitten when it comes to chatting about her partner as she quipped that the aspiring horticulturist is the first boyfriend she has had who is a ‘really good person’.
The pair live with together in their LA home alongside their two rescue dogs Vlad and Stella.
Next month, Kate, who is set to appear at Glastonbury festival, will release her fifth studio album album, 9 Sad Symphonies, on June 21.
The new release will come five days before her Other Stage performance at Worth Farm in Somerset.
In 2018, Kate parted ways with her initial record label and independently released her third and fourth records.
The latest single from her new album, Millions Of Heartbreaks, captured the hearts of her fans, who fell in love with the track, similar to when she first hit the big time.
During a break from music, she made a name for herself in America.
Kate appeared opposite Alison Brie in the comedy-drama series Glow, which hit flick about women’s professional wrestling circuit.
Kate is said to be taking to the stage during Glastonbury festival where is believed to be performing some iconic hits as well some of her new album.
