Katie Price leaves Mucky Mansion after 10 years as removal vans turn up

BANKRUPT Katie Price is moving out of her Mucky Mansion today after 10 years, admitting she “hates” the Sussex home.

The Sun can reveal how removal vans turned up at Katie’s sprawling estate this morning after she was served an eviction notice following her second bankruptcy.

Bought in 2014 from Tory peer Francis Maude for £2million, the Horsham pad became so grim her older kids eventually refused to live in it.

It was popularly known as Katie’s “Mucky Mansion” and she made a TV show off the back of it about doing it up.

But after years of fighting to save her home, Katie, 46, announced she had finally let the bailiffs take it.

While performing on her live podcast tour The Katie Price Show, she told the audience in London on Friday night: “I am still in my mansion! And guess what? I absolutely have hated my mansion.

“I tell you why, nine years of hell I’ve had there. Fly-tipping, it’s haunted… And I am living with it.

“Whoever buys that house, good luck! I hate it.”

The Sun has now been told removal vans turned up outside her Sussex property on Tuesday after the bank holiday weekend.

Three large removal trucks arrived and parked on the estate ready to clear the place out.

An insider said: “Katie has been dreading this day for so long but now it is here, she can’t wait to leave.

“The house has caused her so much grief and was too much to handle on her own. With work and the kids, it all became too much in recent years.

“She’s convinced it’s haunted.”

Katie Price ‘hates the Mucky Mansion and will be glad to get away from it’ in blunt confession

Problems with the house have been going on for years, with her pool going mouldy and the tennis courts getting overgrown.

At one point it became central to one of Katie’s reality shows as she desperately tried to renovate it once and for all.

She also claimed her five kids would wake up screaming after seeing ghosts walk around the property.

It was revealed last week that the 46-year-old has been told she must leave her home after being declared bankrupt.

She’s since listed a number of the furnishings on Facebook Marketplace to flog what she can before she leaves.

Katie Price’s missing millions

The cash-strapped mum-of-five was first declared bankrupt in 2019 over unpaid debts of £3.2 million.

She was declared bankrupt for a second time in March over an unpaid tax bill of £761,994.05.

The demand for payment was made by HMRC last October.

Katie was due to give evidence about her finances at the High Court last month but failed to turn up – holidaying in Cyprus with her new man JJ Slater instead.

Mucky Mansion has been a bomb site for years after it was burgled, flooded and swamped by an overflowing septic tank.

Katie paid £1.35 million for the home back in October 2014 when she bought it from Tory peer Francis Maude.

A notice of eviction addressed to Katie, 45, has now reportedly been pinned to a fence outside her 8,000-square-foot, nine-bed pile.
