Kelce comforts bloodied fan after smashing her on HEAD with ball
The moment Travis Kelce comforted a female fan after hitting her in the head with his golf ball on Saturday was captured on video.
While competing in the 35th Annual American Century Championship in Lake Tahoe, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end shanked several shots into the crowd. On Saturday, a wayward shot from Kelce struck a young girl in the audience, leaving her bloodied.
Taylor Swift‘s boyfriend was on the 16th hole at the Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course when his drive struck the woman in the back of her head. One eyewitness told PEOPLE that streaks of blood could be seen in her blonde hair.
Footage shows the three-time Super Bowl winner comforting the young spectator as she received medical treatment on the course.
As Kelce stood near the fan, another bad shot flew over the crowd – who audibly reacted in unison. After another close call, Kelce remained in place as security shielded the fan away from the being crowded.

‘I’m gonna say, you guys should probably move out the way,’ Kelce said as he walked away from the scene.
His brother and tournament rival, Jason, also checked on the woman, who reportedly said she was unsure which of the two Kelce brothers actually hit the errant shot.
She was ultimately able to stand on her own after several minutes of sitting on the ground. Staff transported her off the course and play quickly resumed.
Nevertheless, Kelce ended his first round tied with legendary pitcher Roger Clemens and SNL alum Colin Jost in 62nd place, which is a major departure from 2023 when he won the tournament.
Interestingly, Travis offered Jason some prescient advice on the event during a recent podcast episode.
‘This is my first time out in Lake Tahoe, do you have any advice?’ Jason asked Travis on an episode of New Heights.
‘My advice would be don’t feel bad if you hit somebody because they bought the ticket,’ Travis joked.

‘It’s a bunch of amateurs out there trying to play golf so don’t feel bad,’ Travis continued. ‘People have been hit before. They got EMTs, whatever it’s called, they got right there at every hole. Everybody will be fine.’
The Chiefs star would embody his own advice early into the tournament. Not only did he hit the aforementioned woman, but a Kelce tee shot also went into the crowd on the first hole, where it hit a man in the arm.
A video posted on X showed Kelce marching down the course with a sheriff before locating the fan who got hit by his shot. Upon meeting the gentleman dawning and bright blue button down, Kelce proceeded to shake his hand before leaning in to kiss his arm.
The apologetic gesture was met by laughs and cheers from the crowd at Edgewood.
