Kensington Palace shares Kate Middleton’s priority task, sending reports despite cancer treatment
Since beginning her cancer treatment, Princess Kate has stayed out of the public eye to focus on her recovery.
As a result, she has paused her usual schedule of public royal duties to concentrate on her health and her three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
Despite taking this necessary time to focus on her health away from the public spotlight, Kate Middleton still maintains one “huge priority” in her royal work, according to Kensington Palace.
This priority is her long-standing dedication to early years development. Kate is passionate about this area because research shows that the first few years of a child’s life are crucial for their development into adulthood.
To support this cause, Kate has worked tirelessly to promote the wellbeing of all young children. Last year, she launched the Royal Foundation’s Early Years Business Taskforce, encouraging the private sector to think innovatively about their contributions to early years development.
The task force recently released a report highlighting the benefits of focusing on early years development, emphasizing factors like wellbeing, productivity, and economic improvement.
“Early childhood is a huge priority for the Princess of Wales and she has been kept fully up to date throughout the process and the development of the taskforce’s work, and she has seen the report,” a palace spokesperson said.
However, royal fans shouldn’t expect Kate to return to work fully until her medical team has cleared her to do so, even if she is being kept abreast behind closed doors of the task force’s crucial work.
A senior aide of Kate and William’s told the Mail Online: “ThePrincess of Waleswas the driving force behind the business task force. She has been kept up to date since the inception of the task force and she has read the report and been briefed on it. This is a clear commitment she has made throughout her life of public service that this will be the focus.”
Princess Katehas been “out and about” with her family in recent weeks as she begins preventative treatment for cancer, it has been reported. Officials have stressed that Kate’s outings should not be mistaken as a sign of her wellness, warning that she needs time and space to recover.
