Kerry Katona forced to cancel Las Vegas wedding after plea from daughters

Kerry Katona has been forced to cancel her Las Vegas wedding.

The singer, 43, had previously shared how she and her fiancé Ryan Mahoney had planned to tie the knot in Sin City almost four years after getting engaged. But it appears that those plans are now off the cards after her daughters Molly and Lilly admitted they weren’t too keen on the plans.

Kerry had previously revealed that Ryan wasn’t too fussed on a “show-boaty” wedding and the couple had decided to “p*** off to Las Vegas,” with her children for their wedding. But almost four years after he popped the question, they have been left reevaluating their plans.

“Ryan and I were looking to go to Vegas to finally get married,” Kerry wrote in her OK! Magazine column. She went on to add: “Molly and Lilly said ‘Don’t you dare do that without us,’ I told them they’d already been at too many of my weddings. That put those plans on the back burner, so I think we’re going to Mexico now. I just want somewhere really relaxing, especially after our stressful house move.”

Speaking previously about her plans, Kerry said: ” I’m just going to p**s off to Vegas, not tell anybody. Just me, Ryan and the kids, and do it there. Well, I’ve done every other kind of wedding, so I’ve got to come up with new ideas on what to do!” Kerry met Ryan on dating app Bumble and she feels that he is the one following three failed marriages. Despite being certain that she has found the love of her life, Kerry admitted that she wouldn’t be rushing down the aisle and what plans she does have on the wedding front.

She said previously: “He’s lovely. But I’m in no rush to get married. If I was to get pregnant, and I’m not trying to, it would be a miracle but I would go along with. I don’t think that’s going to happen thought. I probably am going to get my eggs frozen and we’ll p*** off to Las Vegas with just the children to get married. Ryan’s not a ‘show-boaty’ kind of guy anyway.”
