Pilots have been asked not to escalate industrial action as the Labour Court is set to hold a formal hearing on Wednesday in another bid to resolve a bitter dispute over pay.

But a senior Ialpa official said it has not given a commitment as he made his way from a meeting with the court at Lansdowne House in Dublin last night.
