Lamborghini owned by ex-world No1 tennis star, 56, up for sale at auction
A LAMBORGHINI owned by tennis legend Thomas Muster is being auctioned for a huge £253,000.
Muster, 56, purchased the yellow Diablo in April 2021 and owned it for six months.
The car – built in 1994 – can reach 60mph in just 4.3 seconds and is able to hit a top speed of 201mph.
It has a 5.7 litre, V12, 485bhp engine under the bonnet and a black leather interior.
Only 873 were made at the time of production, with wrestler Hulk Hogan, singer Mariah Carey and actor Pierce Brosnan having owned one.
And Muster’s old car has racked up just 5,470 miles – an average of 273.5 miles per year over the last two decades.
It is tipped to sell for £253,000 and has just had £68,000 worth of maintenance work done on it over the last year.
The listing on RM Sotheby’s reads: “This example of Lamborghini’s Diablo, the marque’s poster car for the 1990s, left the factory bound for Austria, where it has resided ever since.
“As a pre-VT model featuring the distinctive cliff instrument binnacle, the Diablo represents driving in its purest form with no power steering.
“It was acquired in April 2021 by former ATP world number one Thomas Muster, who most notably won the French Open in 1995.

“A subsequent owner bought the car in October 2021 before it was purchased by the most recent keeper.”
The auction is set to take place in Tegernsee, Germany on July 27.
Muster became World No1 in February 1996, a year after winning the French Open.
