Liam Gallagher will Definitely Maybe be late for Limerick gig due to Euro final

LIAM Gallagher fans can pinpoint the exact time the Oasis frontman will come out on stage in Limerick on Sunday night apart from VAR checks that is!

A concerned fan asked Liam on X (formerly Twitter) to “please don’t cut it short” after Liam wrote “Lions” on X following Ollie Watkins’ last gasp winner for England over Holland in the Euro semi-final.

The worried concert-goer asked if his head will be on the Euro final or the gig in a packed Thomond Park.

“The gig. I’m a professional,” replied Liam. He said he will watch the first half of the match backstage and “then it’s all about me”.

So depending on injuries and VAR stoppages fans can expect Liam on stage around 8.50pm.

He was also asked if the match will be shown on a big screen in the stadium. “Not sure that’ll go down well in Limerick,” replied Liam.

He is in stark contrast to brother Noel regarding his support of England.

Speaking in an interview with BBC Radio 5 Live after Man City beat West Ham to win the Premier League, Noel was asked about how much he cares about how Phil Foden does this summer when he represents England at the Euros.

“I’m not an England fan, I’m Irish,” he replied, before saying “good night!” and walking away.

Sunday’s gig is part of Liam’s Definitely Maybe 30 Years which celebrate the 30th anniversary of the release of Oasis’s all-conquering and massively influential debut album.

It concludes a hat-trick of gigs in Thomond Park with Snow Patrol on Friday night and Paolo Nutini on Satruday.
