Lidl Ireland set to sell a bouncy castle perfect for summer but there’s a catch

IRISH parents are set to love the new Lidl Ireland’s garden additions that are perfect for summer – but there’s a catch.

And it comes with two games that are designed to keep children busy during the school holidays.

The Bouncy Castle is priced at €69.99 and will be available to purchase in the middle aisle from July 14.

The small inflatable castle has four walls, a square hole for an entrance and a tube across the top.

It features two different games that can be sure to keep children entertained.

An inflatable basketball hoop sits at the top of the bouncy castle, facing outwards.

And on the side of the bouncy castle there are two pegs that inflatable rings can be thrown on.

The bouncy castle comes with one inflatable ball to use with the basketball net and four inflatable hoops to throw on the pegs.

And it’s available in two styles: Blue base with orange, yellow and light blue OR Light blue base with yellow, red and green.

The toy is recommended for children aged three and upwards.

It comes with an instruction manual and two repair patches.

But there’s a catch: parents would need to already have an electric air pump to inflate the bouncy castle, which adds extra money to the addition.

Electric Air Pump tends to retail in stores between €10-20, meaning parents would be spending at least €79.99 on the bouncy castle if they don’t have a pump.

NEW OUTDOOR PLAY TOY

Meanwhile, Irish parents are set for a major boost as an ‘outdoor play toy’ that will keep kids busy over summer hits shelves for only €1.

The hugely popular character bubble wand is now available across Aldi’s Irish stores.

The bubble wands feature some of the most iconic characters from children’s movies.

Spiderman, The Little Mermaid and Paw Patrol bubble wands are on sale now for the bargain price of €1 each.

The item is perfect for keeping your kids busy outside over the summer months as the temperature begins to rise.

A description on Aldi’s website reads: “Everyone loves bubbles, now you can do that with the help of your favourite character.

“Suitable for 3 years plus so even those adult kids could get involved and have some fun.”

The wand can hold 120ml of water, so its perfect for blowing bubbles all summer long.

The item is approximately 30cm long and it’s product type is listed as an outdoor toy.
