With the Saudi Pro League eyeing another aggressive summer of spending in a bid to attract big names, it’s been widely reported Reds goalkeeper Alisson is high on their wishlist. According to teamTALK, a ‘monster offer’ is being prepared in a bid to tempt him to the Middle East.
It certainly appears unlikely the Liverpool No.1 will move on at this stage. But there could definitely be movement at Liverpool in the goalkeeping department.
Back-up Caoimhin Kelleher has suggested he could be on the move. He has impressed as Alisson’s replacement and could well now be ready to go in search of regular first-team football.

As a result, Liverpool could be in the market for a goalkeeper in the summer transfer window, whether that is a first-choice or a new back-up. And according to SportsZone, Brazil international Bento is being ‘monitored’ by the Reds.
Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan and AC Milan are also said to be keeping an eye on the Athletico Paranaense goalkeeper. He has won two caps for his country and is part of the same international squad as Alisson.
The 24-year-old has now played over 100 league games for his club having come through the youth ranks and his performances as well as international recognition have sparked interest in bringing him to Europe. It remains to be seen whether any interest from Liverpool would be as a replacement for Kelleher or as someone who could potentially take Alisson’s place should he be tempted to depart.
Back in March, Alisson’s agent responded to speculation linking him with a move back to his hometown club, Internacional, and suggested there was little chance he would leave Liverpool.
Speaking to Revista Colorada, Ze Mario said: “There’s nothing. There was no contact. At this moment, it is impossible.”
Alisson also indicated he is looking to the future after Jurgen Klopp’s last game in charge. He said: “Now we have a huge challenge in front of us. Change of manager, we don’t know too much about him but I’m sure he’ll work a lot to put his mentality across.”
