Lotto bosses confirm Dublin shop which sold €6.7 million-winning ticket
There were celebrations at a north Dublin Lidl supermarket on Tuesday after it was revealed as the selling location of Saturday’s winning Lotto jackpot ticket worth over €6.7 million.
Over 91,000 players nationwide won prizes across the Lotto and Lotto Plus games on Saturday, with one lucky Dublin player becoming a millionaire overnight after scooping the massive €6,788,177 jackpot on offer in the weekend draw.
The winning numbers in the main Lotto draw on Saturday, June 29 were: 1, 4, 8, 21, 27, 28 and the bonus was 34.

The National Lottery has revealed that the Dublin jackpot winner purchased the life-changing ticket in the Lidl Store on the Ballymun Road in Dublin 9.
Ballymun Lidl Store Manager, Sun Haojun, was thrilled to hear the news that one of their customers bagged the life-changing jackpot.
“There is great excitement in store this morning, we are absolutely thrilled to share this life-changing moment with the winner and to have sold the winning ticket in Lidl Ballymun,” he said.
“On behalf of the entire team at Lidl, we want to extend our heartfelt congratulations to the lucky winner. Not only is this incredible news for them, but it’s extremely exciting for the whole Ballymun community.”
Lotto chiefs have confirmed that the latest Lotto jackpot winner has made contact and arrangements are now being made for Ireland’s newest multi-millionaire to visit Lotto HQ to collect their life-changing amount.
Saturday’s winner took the title of fifth Lotto jackpot winner of the year-to-date following wins by players in Dublin (2), Louth and Limerick.
This latest jackpot win comes just two weeks after another Lotto player in Dublin 9 became a millionaire after scooping the top prize of €1 million in the Daily Million draw at 9pm on Sunday, June 16 after purchasing their winning ticket at Nan’s Centra on the Shangan Road in Ballymun.
