Lotto bosses reveal county of lucky punter who snagged life-changing €6.7m prize
ONE Irish Lotto player wins life-changing €6.7 million prize as winning location revealed by Lotto bosses.
The lucky punter has become a millionaire overnight after scooping Saturday’s Lotto jackpot.
The winning ticket was bought in Dublin, with the lucky punter winning a life-changing €6,788,177.
This is the fifth time this year that the Irish Lotto jackpot has been won, with two other winners from Dublin, one from Louth and one from Limerick.
The lucky numbers chosen in the draw were 1, 4, 8, 21, 27, 28 and the bonus was 34.
The store that sold the winning ticket will be revealed by the National Lottery on Tuesday.
Over 91,000 players nationwide won prizes across the Lotto and Lotto Plus games on Saturday.
The National Lottery are now urging all Dublin players to check their tickets very carefully to see if they are the winner.
Spokesperson Sarah Ruane said: “It was an incredibly busy and colourful weekend in Dublin with massive concerts and parades taking place across the capital!
“To round up a memorable weekend, one Lotto player from Dublin has become the latest jackpot winner after scooping the massive €6,788,177 jackpot on offer in the weekend draw. So far this year, we have seen the Lotto jackpot won by players in Dublin (2), Louth and Limerick with the latest winner now taking the title of 5th Lotto jackpot winner of 2024.
“We will be revealing the store location where the ticket was purchased on Tuesday 2nd of July but in the meantime, we are appealing to all of our players who may have purchased their tickets in Dublin to carefully check their tickets as soon as possible as one player now has a ticket worth a life-changing amount.”
The newest Lotto millionaire is advised to sign the back of their ticket and keep it safe.
The winner should contact the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to collect their life-changing prize.
Cork Lotto Winner
This comes after the National Lottery revealed a Cork woman as the THIRD big winner of the new EuroDreams game in Ireland.
The winning ticket is worth €2,000 per month for five years.
The Cork native came forward to claim the prize making the win official.
A lucky punter was left celebrating after scooping the major prize in the Thursday May 30th EuroDreams draw.
The National Lottery had previously revealed that the winning ticket was sold at O’Reilly’s Garage on the Clonakilty Road in Bandon, Co Cork.

And the lucky Cork winner shared her excitement over the huge prize win.
She said: “Well I’m a regular player of the Lotto, but when I went up to the counter in the shop, I saw this new game called EuroDreams and it got me thinking about how I’ve always dreamed of owning a red convertible, driving somewhere with the sunglasses on and my hair blowing in the wind! So, I bought a ticket.

“When I checked it, I thought I’d only won €2.50. I asked a family member to double check it for me, and it was then we realised the true value of the ticket.
“She goes, mammy, you’re after winning €2,000 a month for 5 years! Ah well we cheered and roared; I was over the moon.”
