Love Island bosses have signed up Paul Pogba‘s official body double and the 6ft5 semi-professional footballer has his heart set on Mimii Ngulube.
Joshua Oyinsan, 29, is entering the show as a bombshell following the Casa Amor re-coupling, where Mimii was left heartbroken over Ayo Odukoya’s betrayal.
But Mimii’s luck could be set to change after Joshua makes a beeline for her in Monday night’s show and she’s intrigued by his advances.
The new arrival had worked as the ex-Manchester United’s body double for years, standing in for the French World Cup winner, who’s currently serving a four-year doping ban, during filming of adverts, which saw the pair become ‘good friends.’
But now Joshua is turning his head away from football to his romantic life in the hope of finding love in the ITV2 villa.
A TV source told MailOnline: ‘Joshua enters the villa and has the chance to date three Islanders of his choosing.
‘He tells Mimii how difficult it has been watching her feel so let down and upset by Ayo’s movements in Casa Amor and hopes he can be the person to put a smile back on her face.
‘It is just what she needed to feel better, after Ayo betrayed her and her confidence was low… but now she has the opportunity to start a new chapter in the villa.’
Joshua makes his entrance alongside another male bombshell, ex-professional footballer Reuben Collins, who’s also hoping to turn heads.
They decide to date Uma Jammeh, Jessy Potts, and Mimii, with the girls exclaiming, ‘revenge is sweet.’
The boys are eventually given the power, deciding who they want to couple up with, which leaves a handful of Islanders at risk of losing their place on the show.
Their arrival follows reports a Love Island contestant has quit after their partner was dumped.
Bosses were allegedly left ‘stunned’ after the cast member decided to follow the axed star, saying goodbye to their co-stars in scenes yet to air.
It follows the double dumping of Trey Norman and Ellie Jackson, who lost their place on the series in Sunday night’s show during the dramatic conclusion of Movie Night.
During Movie Night, Uma was left devastated after discovering the true extent of partner Wil Anderson’s wrongdoings.
He refused to apologise to the model, reacting defensively when scenes showing him flirting and passionately kissing Casa Amor contestant Lucy Graybill aired in the villa.
Joey Essex ended up having a blazing row with former flame Grace Jackson, who accused him of not being transparent when she first entered the show.
The former TOWIE star told Grace to ‘shut her mouth’ during the explosive scenes, where she witnessed him kissing Jessy Potts for the first time on the terrace.
