Love Island viewers shocked by Mimii’s admission

Love Island spoilers follow.

Love Island viewers were shocked by Mimii’s admission after a dramatic Snog, Marry, Pie challenge.

Tonight’s (July 15) episode aired the fallout of yesterday’s tense compatibility game, which saw the couples answer awkward questions about their partner.

The discussions didn’t last long as Grace received a text: “Islanders, it’s time to put your feelings out there and take it on the chin as you play Snog, Marry, Pie #PutARingOnIt #EyesOnThePies.”

During the challenge, Mimii shocked the group when she chose to kiss her previous partner Ayo, who recently recoupled with Casa Amor bombshell Jess.

“I chose to snog this boy because we had a good connection whilst it lasted and it just made the most sense for this game for me I think,” Mimii explained.

Viewers were also shocked by Mimii’s decision, with one writing on X (formerly Twitter): “MIMII KISSING AYO?! OH HOLY SH*T.”

Another added: “Mimii what are you doing!! You could’ve just married him,” while a third said: “Mimii sorry you did cop out you definitely should have pied Ayo.”

After the challenge, Josh, who is currently coupled up with Mimii, pulled his partner for a chat to discuss her unexpected kiss with Ayo.

“The feelings are still there,” she revealed, with Josh later telling Ayo: “If it’s a thing where this girl keeps doing these antics then I’m going to have to make a decision, because I’m better than that.”

Meanwhile, Mimii enlisted Joey’s help to get Ayo to meet her on the terrace, where she wanted to “talk to him away from everyone”.

What will Mimii have to say?

Love Island airs on ITV2 and streams on ITVX.
