Lucky Punter Wins Life-Changing Amount On EuroMillions

A lucky player from the east of the country landed a life-changing amount of cash in Tuesday’s EuroMillions draw.

The mystery player was the only winner of the Plus top prize of €500,000.

It has already been confirmed that the winning ticket was sold in Co Kildare but the exact location has yet to be revealed.

The numbers for the EuroMillions Plus draw were 9, 17, 20, 36 and 41.

The latest win is the 10th EuroMillions Plus top prize win of 2024, following wins by players in Dublin (three), Tipperary, Cork, Wicklow (two), Kilkenny and Laois.

However, there was no winner of the main EuroMillions jackpot of €47,755,445, but over 34,000 players in Ireland won some sort of prize.

The numbers for the main draw were 16, 18, 35, 36 and 41 and the Lucky Stars were 6 and 7.

There were also 10 winners of €5,000 in the Ireland Only Raffle.

On Friday May 24th another Irish player managed to win the Plus top prize – also for €500,000.

The Quick Pick ticket was purchased on the day of the draw at Tesco Ireland, Clonsilla, Roselawn, Dublin 15.

The winning EuroMillions Plus numbers in the May 24 draw were: 31, 37, 38, 39, 48.

Elsewhere, a Centra store in Rochestown, Co Cork was revealed as the selling location for a €1 million winning ticket from a Daily Million 9pm draw on Thursday, May 23.

The country’s latest National Lottery millionaire bought their Quick Pick ticket there on the day of the draw.

The winner, who became the sixth Daily Million top prize winner of 2024, have since made contact with Lotto HQ.
