M50 delays and Dublin Tunnel reopens after crash

Good morning and welcome to Dublin Live’s traffic blog in partnership with Dublin City FM.

There are delays on the M50 southbound between Junction 6 and Junction 7 as well as Junction 10 and Junction 12.




Additionally, the following routes approaching Dublin are facing delays: M1 southbound, M3 southbound, M4 eastbound, and M7 eastbound.

Elsewhere, a crash in the Dublin Tunnel has been cleared and both the north and south bores have been reopened.

Breakdown on Swords Road

Breakdown on Swords Road inbound just before the junction of Griffith Avenue. Traffic was already extremely slow on that route.

Dublin Tunnel update

The Dublin Tunnel has reopened in both directions after an overnight incident. Southbound traffic is being metered for volume so it’s closing intermittently.

Traffic seems to have diverted towards Swords Road and Malahide Road as both routes are extremely busy
