Self Funded Paris2Nice 2024

Matt’s daughter Karen is the driving force behind the venture and she explains why they have taken on the self funded Paris2Nice 2024 cycle and why they’ve chosen to fundraise for Breakthrough Cancer Research.

“We’re cycling 750km from Paris to Nice over six days. This is a self-funded trip and all donations will go straight to Breakthrough Cancer Research.

‘Charity Close to our Hearts’ – Karen

“This is a charity very close to our hearts as Matt was diagnosed with metastatic melanoma in 2019 which was successfully treated with Immunotherapy. This treatment was relatively new at the time and only came about due to recent research.

“We hope you can help us by donating whatever you can. All donations are securely transacted. You can access the Idonate site with a click on the link here: https://www.idonate.ie/fundraiser/KarenandMattKeane
