A man has been arrested after gardai seized €3m worth of cocaine in Dublin.
The man, in his 30s, is being quizzed at a Garda station following the seizure that was made at a house in Clondalkin.
The operation was conducted by gardaí attached to the Serious Crime South in Clondalkin & Ballyfermot.
“Gardaí have seized cocaine valued at €3m and arrested a man in his 30s following a search operation at a residence in Clondalkin, Dublin on Tuesday, July 9,” gardai said.
“The arrested man, aged in his 30s, is currently detained at a Garda Station in the DMR under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.”
The suspected cocaine will now be sent to Forensic Science Ireland (FSI) to undergo analysis.
Meanwhile, investigations are ongoing”, gardai added.
