Man (30s) arrested as Revenue seize cocaine worth €76,000 in Wicklow
As part of an intelligence-led operation on Tuesday, July 9, Revenue officers seized approximately 1.02 kgs of suspected cocaine.
Gardaí have arrested a man in his 30s after drugs with an estimated value of €76,000 was seized in west Wicklow.
As part of an intelligence-led operation on Tuesday, July 9, Revenue officers seized approximately 1.02 kgs of suspected cocaine.
The seizure was made as a result of a joint operation conducted by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB), the Bray District Drugs Unit and Revenue’s Customs Service.
A man was arrested by members of An Garda Síochána’s Bray District Drugs Unit.
He is currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996, at a garda station in the Wicklow Division.
