Management team step away from top Mayo club
The Mayo News understands that last year’s county senior finalists Breaffy are on the hunt for a new team manager. James Fallon took the reins at the start of the season after Konrad Coghill stepped away from the job, but this evening the club are once again hunting for a new team boss.
Fallon managed Mayo Gaels to a county intermediate title in recent seasons and headed a Breaffy management team with clubman Eugene Caulfield, but it’s understood they decided to step away today (Monday). The move comes just days after Breaffy were beaten by their neighbours Castlebar Mitchels in the Senior Football League in a well-contested encounter.
The men in blue and white have played six league games this season, winning one, drawing one and losing four.
