Manatee County-based Benderson Development adds to portfolio with new shopping center

Benderson Development continues to grow its real estate portfolio as the Manatee County-headquartered company announced the purchase of a 250,000-square-foot shopping center in Naples.

Carillon Place is located at the intersection of Airport-Pulling Road North and Pine Ridge Road. The property was 92% leased and includes T.J. Maxx, DSW and Walmart as major tenants, according to a news release announcing the transaction.

The previous property owner was BRE DDR Carillon Place LLC, which bought it in 2012 for $35.35 million.

A deed has not yet been recorded for the Benderson transaction and the news release announcing the acquisition did not include a purchase price.
