Marks and Spencer’s ‘no crease’ £39.50 wedding guest dress hailed an ‘essential’

Now that wedding season is in full swing, many are taking to the high street to find the perfect last minute frock to wear to to their loved ones’ summer nuptials. Luckily, Marks and Spencer has knocked it out of the park with their range of summer dresses and there is one dress in particular that fashion fans have been snapping up in droves.

The high street’s Floral Midaxi Tea Dress is proving popular online and we can definitely see why. It comes in at just £39.50 and is ‘perfect’ to dress up at weddings or style more casually on the weekends or when on holiday, as the Liverpool Echo reports.

The stunning wardrobe essential has been constructed in a regular fit with a breezy, flowing midaxi length skirt and playful short puff sleeves. The striking floral print adds a unique touch to the elegant design, which has been crafted from a timeless black and cream colourway that we can see people wearing season after season.

The Floral Midaxi Tea Dress could be styled with a pretty pair of black heels for a classy look, like these ASOS DESIGN native strappy heeled sandals in black priced at £26. M&S shoppers have been praising the ‘lovely fabric’ in the reviews.

One happy shopper said: “I was really pleased with this purchase. Lovely dress and very good value for money. I bought it in an eight, petite and was delighted with the look and feel of this item. A dress for every occasion as can easily dress up or down. I would certainly recommend this purchase for a special occasion or a holiday essential.”

A second review read: “Beautiful dress, lovely light material that does not crease and very comfortable to wear.” A third shopper said: “Beautiful dress at a very reasonable price. Very flattering fit.”

Among the very few negative reviews, one shopper hailed the dress as ‘disappointing’ because the ‘zip bulges at the side’. They wrote: “Lovely dress but not sure if I will keep it yet as the zip seems to bulge at the side. Bit disappointing.”

But another shopper loved their latest M&S dress, adding: “Really nice dress, looks a lot more expensive than it cost, the material lovely.” Somebody else agreed, mentioning: “Beautiful dress which is so comfortable to wear and very flattering. I felt so smart at a recent birthday party.”

If you like the sound of this dress, you can purchase it here for £39.50. Elsewhere, New Look is selling this White Floral Strappy Ruffle Midi Dress for £30 instead of £43 in the sale and it looks perfect for a wedding.
