Married at First Sight UK stars announce engagement two years after show

Zoe Clifton and Jenna Robinson, who met on Married at First Sight in 2022, have shared some exciting news with fans – they’re engaged.

The pair took to Instagram and gushed that they’d been “keeping a little secret”.

They met and fell on love on the iconic channel 4 show and after getting married upon first sight, the duo are the only remaining couple from the their series still going strong, despite Jordan and Chanita once being hailed at the series’ “golden couple”.

In an exclusive shoot and interview with OK! they reflected on their time on the show and what was the hardest part for them.

Jenna said: “I’m very reactive with my emotions. I need to take a step back in the moment and then really think about how I actually feel and what I want. The experts helped us learn how to resolve these conflicts, because we’re both very stubborn and very independent people. In the real world, I don’t know if we would have…”, while Zoe shared: “…I think we would’ve given up earlier. I think that that’s the importance of the experiment really, there were times that we would have given up but we pushed through.”

Jenna and Zoe were the first lesbian couple to go on the show and also the only people who came out the other end stronger than ever.

The pair had their fair share of ups and downs, including arguments about veganism and worries over Zoe’s now famous Mr. Pickles, a pickled rat she keeps in a jar. But, having worked through their issues together, they’re now a thriving, fully fledged couple on the outside world.

Away from the show, Jenna is the owner of Un-do – a zero-waste store located in Blackpool.

Marking their first year together since falling in love in April 2023, celebrated this milestone in a heartwarming post. Zoe took to Instagram to share a carousel of photographs that showcased some of their favourite moments together, including from their wedding ceremony when they first said “I do”.

Reflecting on their journey, Zoe wrote: “ The day we met > Home-stays > Vow renewals > Our first Christmas > Casually hearing our voices in Asda > Our AFTERMAFS.”

Zoe also took a moment to thank the show’s panel of experts for matching her up with Jenna, as she gave a sweet shout out of thanks to Charlene Douglas, Paul C Brunson and Mel Schilling for their expertise and matchmaking on their series of MAFS UK.
