Mavericks vs Celtics Preview: Game 3 is the last stand for Dallas against Boston
The Dallas Mavericks host the Boston Celtics in Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Wednesday night. The game starts at 7:30 pm CST and will be broadcast nationally on ABC. Dallas is down 0-2 to the Celtics, a hole that only five teams in NBA history have climbed out of. It’s a bad spot, but Dallas still has a fighting chance if they clean some things up on offense and defend the Celtics at the rim as well. Of course, Boston hasn’t shot the ball well, which should live in the back of every Dallas fan’s head as we lead into the game. Here’s the important things to know:
- WHO: Dallas Mavericks vs Boston Celtics
- WHAT: Game 3 of the NBA Finals
- WHERE: American Airlines Center, Dallas, Texas
- WHEN: 7:30 p.m. CST
- HOW: ABC
The injury report is for Dallas is similar as to what it’s been these past few days. Luka Doncic is probable, though it’s also been reported he’s been getting shots to deal with the pain he’s feeling as a result of his chest injury. For Boston, Kristaps Porzingis is listed as questionable, but the more we learn about his injury and how rare it is, the harder a time I have seeing him playing in Game 3. It’s rather bleak if you look into it more.
The Mavericks need to win. I don’t have a ton to say beyond that.
I need them to win one. Thanks for hanging out at Mavs Moneyball. I’ll be around after the game, we have our usual content scheduled. Our postgame podcast will be on Pod Maverick on YouTube and you should consider joining us. Let’s go get this thing done, please. Let’s go Mavs.
