Max George’s sizzling holiday snaps leave fans worried for his safety
Max George‘s sizzling holiday snaps have left fans worried for his safety as he was seen soaking up the sun on Monday without his girlfriend Maisie Smith.
The former Wanted singer, 35, flaunted his very dark tan while sporting a pair of tiny shorts from Euro 1996 and celebrating England’s first match against Serbia.
But as the Brit star posted an album of scorching snaps to Instagram, his followers begged him to wear sunscreen as they became concerned over his safety.
Sharing his post to his 366,000 followers, he penned: ‘Surely the greatest shorts England have ever had? Can anyone name the year?..’
While some fans engaged in his football supporting ensemble, many were too worried about him taking his safety seriously while sunbathing on holiday.
One fan commented: ‘Are you wearing sunscreen? Please do!!’
‘Bl***y hell Max, how brown are u?’
‘How long have you been abroad – some tan!’
Fans were desperate to remind him about sun exposure. ‘Melanoma might like this,’ one added.
‘Lots of suntan cream. My mum used to love sitting in it but then got skin cancer thankfully she is ok. You look like them old men that sit by the pool from 8-5 xx.’
But after one user commented: ‘I’m more impressed by your tan,’ Max replied: ‘That’s my nans genes for ya!’ as he ignored those who were concerned.
His snaps come just weeks after he and girlfriend Maisie Smith ruled out working together again after a ‘ropey’ audition for major stage show.
Max and the former EastEnders star, 22, who met on Strictly Come Dancing in 2020, will play a married couple in Jeff Wayne’s musical version of The War Of The Worlds, which will tour in 2025.
The duo auditioned together as a couple, with Max joking during a Good Morning Britain interview: ‘First time we’ve ever done that… probably the last!
‘It was a bit ropey in parts, but in the end, we got there.
‘We’re buzzing! We can’t wait, it’s going to be so good!’
He added: ‘Honestly, we’re so buzzing for it!’
The musical will be coming to 17 major UK arenas next March, and not-so coincidentally celebrating 130 years since the release of the original HG Wells novel.
Earlier in the day, The War of The Worlds team announced on social media: ‘We are so thrilled to announce our first two cast members performing on The Spirit of Man Tour, 2025…
‘For the first time in Martian history, a real-life couple will be performing as the married pair: The Wanted’s @maxgeorge as Parson Nathaniel and @maisiesmithofficial as Beth.
Jeff then said: ‘Being a couple in real life will add to their on-stage charisma and chemistry.
‘Maisie has such a melodic but powerful voice, which compliments Max’s dramatic and soulful vocals wonderfully.’
