EuroMillions players who may have purchased their tickets for last night’s draw in the Tesco Narrow Ways store in Bettystown are being urged to carefully check their tickets

A EuroMillions player in Meath had a Tuesday night to remember after matching five numbers in the main draw to win €36,044.

The Royal County winner scooped the Match 5 prize after purchasing their winning Quick Pick ticket on Sunday 16th June at Tesco, Narrow Ways, Eastham Road in Bettystown.

The winning numbers in the Tuesday 18th June draw were: 03, 11, 33, 34, 36 and the lucky stars were 01, 12.

The National Lottery has urged EuroMillions players in Meath who may have purchased their tickets for last night’s draw in the Tesco Narrow Ways store to carefully check their tickets today as one person now has a ticket worth €36,044. The winner is advised to sign the back of their ticket and keep it safe. They should contact the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to claim their prize.

Last month, the same store sold a winning Match 5 + Bonus prize worth €160,656 in the midweek Lotto draw on Wednesday 29th May.

National Lottery spokesperson Sarah Orr said: “In the space of just three weeks, the Tesco store on the Eastham Road in Bettystown has seen two National Lottery players win incredible prizes! Tuesday’s EuroMillions draw saw a Meath player match five numbers to win €36,044 after purchasing their Quick Pick ticket in that particular Tesco store on Sunday. Just three weeks ago, a Lotto player matched five numbers and the bonus in the 29th May draw after purchasing their winning ticket at the same store.”

While Tuesday’s draw saw over 57,000 players in Ireland win prizes across the EuroMillions and Plus games, there was no outright winner of the €176,125,264 jackpot on offer. Friday’s EuroMillions jackpot is now set to roll towards an estimated €195 million. Players hoping to get their weekend off to a celebratory start are reminded that tickets can be purchased in-store, through the app and at lottery.ie ahead of the 7.30pm cut-off time for sales on Friday.
