Men’s Basketball Signs Narit Chotikavanic – West Texas A&M University Athletics
CANYON, Texas – On Wednesday, West Texas A&M men’s basketball and head coach Tom Brown announced the signing of Narit Chotikavanic.
Chotikavanic comes to Canyon after a standout career at Plano East High School in Plano, Texas where he helped the Panthers to their first Class 6A state championship in school history. During his senior campaign, Chotikavanic averaged 11 points, six rebounds, and two assists per game to earn First Team All-District and Academic All-District honors. The Plano East product also averaged eight points, four rebounds, and two steals per game in his junior season to earn Second Team All-District honors as the Panthers posted a 31-5 record.

Chotikavanic joins a West Texas A&M program which is coming off back-to-back Lone Star Conference regular season titles. WT is also coming off another Elite Eight performance, its 4th in the past 8 seasons. The Buffs, led by three seniors in Larry Wise, Ryland Holt and Zach Toussaint, finished 30-5 overall and made the NCAA Division II Final Four.
