BRONX, N.Y. – The Fordham men’s basketball team will open its 2024-25 season with a short road trip to Queens, as the Rams will face off against the St. John’s Red Storm on Nov. 4, 2024 inside Carnesecca Arena.  An official tip time and broadcast destination will be announced at a later date.

The Rams and the Red Storm will meet for the 91st time in the history of the two programs dating back to 1909.  It will also mark the third time in the last four seasons that the teams have squared off, having played this past December at Madison Square Garden and on Dec. 5, 2021 in Queens.  Fordham owns two wins over the Johnnies in the last 15 years, one in 2010 and another in 2015, both of which came at the Rose Hill Gym.

Last season, its first under the direction of Rick Pitino, St. John’s won 20 games, reached the semifinals of the BIG EAST Tournament and was one of the last teams left out of the NCAA Tournament at-large field.

Single-game tickets for the season opener will go on sale at a later date and will be available for purchase by calling 1-888-GO-STORM or by visiting RedStormTix.com.

The remainder of the Rams’ non-conference schedule will be announced at a later date.  As of press time, it has been revealed that Fordham will play in the Sunshine Slam as a bracket featuring Clemson, Penn State and the University of San Francisco.  The Rams will also face Bryant inside Mohegan Sun Arena on Dec. 14 as part of the Hall of Fame Showcase.
