Men’s Tennis Set to Host ITA Kickoff Regional for Second Straight Season – Harvard University

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – After finishing at the No. 12 nationally ranked program, Harvard men’s tennis host a regional as a part of the 2025 ITA Kickoff Weekend, welcoming a trio of top-40 teams beginning January 25, 2025.

For the second straight season, Cambridge, Mass. will serve as a host sight in the road to the ITA Indoor Nationals as the Crimson will welcome No. 16 Texas A&M, No. 22 UCLA, and No. 39 Georgia to the Murr Center.

Harvard has history with all three teams headed to the regional including welcoming back UCLA for back-to-back seasons.  The Crimson opened its weekend in 2024 by besting the Bruins for the first time in program history with a 4-2 result.  Harvard will open its weekend with its 22nd all-time meeting against No. 39 Georgia in a rematch of the 2023 NCAA Round of 16.  In the second half of the bracket the Bruins and Texas A&M will face-off.  If the Crimson were to meet the Aggies to battle for a spot at the ITA Indoor Nationals it would mark just the fifth meeting all-time between the two squads and the first in 30 years.

The semifinals and finals will take place on campus on Saturday, January 25 and Sunday, January 26, respectively.  The weekend champion will advance to national indoors in Dallas and Waco, Texas on February 14 through 17.
