MIC star Louise Thompson stuns at Paris fashion event following health battles

Louise Thompson stunned at Vogue World: Paris as she rubbed shoulders with dozens of A-listers. The ex-Made in Chelsea star jetted out to the French capital on a solo trip to attend the historic fashion event at Place Vendôme.

Louise, 34, looked exceptionally glamorous in a sheer black maxi dress complete with a cowl neck and ruffle detailing. She wore no accessories to ensure her gown took centre stage, with her brunette tresses pulled back into a stylish bun. The mum of one revealed on her Instagram Stories she’d done her glam make-up herself as she documented her lengthy getting ready process.

She shared a number of photos on her social media account from the evening, with her followers flocking to compliment her glamorous look. Louise’s fiancé Ryan Libbey, 33, was first in line to compliment her, as he commented: “Holy f***ing shit,” alongside a string of shocked emojis.

Louise’s fans appeared to agree with Ryan, with one writing: “Lucky boy!! She is just gorgeous inside and out.” Another said: “She looks absolutely stunning!”

A third wrote: “After all you have dealt with the last few months it’s your time to shine. Stunning.” A fourth commented: “What an absolutely beautiful dress – it’s perfect for you.” While a fifth added: “Louise you look so beautiful – enjoy every moment, you deserve it.”

It comes after Louise released her first book, titled Lucky: Learning to Live Again, which tells the story of Louise’s life, with a main focus on the health battles she has faced in the past three years. The MIC favourite has been in and out of hospital since welcoming her baby son Leo-Hunter in 2021.

She had an emergency C-section and suffered severe complications, with Leo taken to NICU. Louise suffered a haemorrhage and lost three litres of blood, and was later diagnosed with PTSD as well as lupus and Asherman’s syndrome.

The mum of one has also been open about her ulcerative colitis diagnosis, which came in 2018. She now lives with a stoma bag, which she is incredibly open about and regularly speaks about on social media.
