Model avoided jail after secretly recording himself having sex with virgin

A MALE model dodged jail “by the skin of his teeth” after he secretly recorded himself taking the virginity of a girl on her 18th birthday and shared the sick footage with his pals on Snapchat.

Milo James, 19, who has modelled for Nike and The North Face, led the teenager to believe that she was in a new and “loving” relationship when she agreed to go back to his home after her party at a cricket club.

But whilst having sex with her twice, James used his mobile phone to video the encounter, before forwarding a 12 second clip to 18 friends via Snapchat.

Sentencing at Chester crown court, Judge Steven Everett told him: “She trusted you and you totally betrayed that trust. She had never had sex before.

“You had sex twice and on the second occasion for reasons that escape me you decided you would video her as you were having sex with her from behind.

“It is clear that she did not know what you were going to do and it is certainly clear that she would never have agreed to you disclosing those images.

“What is meant to be, dare I say it, a private and loving act turned out to be just a horrible experience for her.

“You compounded that by then bragging to your mates sending out those images, to every one of them, up to 18 people, on social media.

“That devastation that she felt as a result of your truly mean and selfish act cannot be calculated.”

The girl was so devastated she dropped out of a college degree and is too scared to go out in case she sees anyone who has watched the footage.

James, of Congleton, Cheshire, pleaded guilty to disclosing private sexual photographs or film with the intent of causing distress and faced up to 18 months jail.

But he was sentenced to nine months in prison, suspended for two years.

Judge Everett added: “You have escaped custody by the skin of your teeth.”

James was also ordered to complete 250 hours of unpaid work, 30 days of rehabilitation activity and a four month 7pm to 6am curfew.
