Mosaic City Church Hosting 4th Annual Anti-Violence Basketball Tournament; Sat June 1st in Garfield Park

Pastor LeStan Hoskins and the Mosaic City Church will be hosting their 4th Annual Anti-Violence Basketball Tournament; starting at 9 AM; Saturday, June 1st in Garfield Park.  Pastor LeStan Hoskins says this is once again for kindergarten through 12th graders, and all are welcome.  He says last year some teams from Champaign and Indiana came by to play, with over 100 participants.  He also says this is five-on-five basketball and you can register ahead of time, or show up the day of the event.

AUDIO: There’s going to be free food for everybody in the community.  Every participant gets a T-shirt, if they turn their registration in before the deadline.  We just want everybody to come; it’s going to be a community event. And we’re just going to have a good time.

To sign up ahead of time for the Saturday, June 1st Mosaic City Church Anti-Violence Basketball Tournament; just go to for It Takes a Village Mentorship Facebook page, and use the QR code.
