Muireann gives fans warning after being left with ‘severe nappy bottom’ on air

IRELAND AM star Muireann O’Connell gave her fans a warning after being left with a “severe nappy bum” on air.

The Virgin Media host was back on air this morning alongside her co-hosts Alan Hughes and Tommy Bowe.

The Limerick native, who’s renowned for style, came out on air wearing a unique green linen suit from Mango and leopard print open-toe heels.

Muireann got the blazer for €69.99 and trousers for €49.99 from Mango.

After the show, Muireann took a video in her dressing room to warn her fans who are looking to buy the outfit.

She said: “Just to tell you, it will give you nappy a**. That’s just definitely going to happen.”

Muireann held out the waistband of her trousers, showing off how big they were on her, and said: “When I bought this it was tight.

“So if you want it, size down. Severe nappy a** tendencies.”

Muireann recently opened up on her nail infection that she described as “disgusting”.

The popular presenter was forced to hide her hands “for months” after a bad reaction from nail polish.

Muireann first noticed the infection last year after getting shellac nails and ran to the chemist to get Curanail.

The anti-fungal nail lacquer cleared up the reaction but unfortunately it has come back again.

The Limerick native took to Instagram earlier this week to recommend the medication to her fans who are struggling with the same problem.

She explained her situation saying: “My manky nails were fixed by this stuff. Recommended by the pharmacist.

“It was after I had a reaction to shellac. It was absolutely disgusting. I hid my hands for months. It was a fungal infection under the nails. MAAAAANKY.”

NAIL BITING

After a year without getting her nails done, Muireann tried BIAB a few weeks ago as she was told it would be “fine on the nails”.

However, Muireann’s nails lifted off the bed yet again and she had to get Curanail again.

Muireann said: “My nails are basically paper and discoloured now.”

The popular presenter gave her followers some advice saying: “This stuff is not for your nails if they’re just looking in rough shape. It is a fungal treatment.

“I very much don’t know what I’m talking about and got advice from professionals.”
