Muireann O’Connell shares sweet snaps with mum as they enjoy Croke Park day out
IRELAND AM star Muireann O’Connell has shared some sweet snaps with her mum as they enjoyed a day out to Croke Park.
The Virgin Media presenter brought her mum Marie to Croke Park yesterday for the All Ireland hurling semi-final.
The pair’s home county, Limerick, were up against Cork in a sold-out Croke Park game yesterday.
Taking to Instagram after the match, Muireann shared some stunning snaps of their fun-filled day out.
The 41-year-old looked amazing as she donned a pair of white jeans, paired with a green shirt which she tied up at the bottom.
The Limerick native completed her look with a pair of Golden Goose runners and the fabulous trainers are characterised by their distinctive dishevelled look.

The mother and daughter duo were all smiles as they posed outside their home and Marie wore her Limerick Jersey.
Outside Croke Park, the weather took a turn as it began to rain.
But coming to the popular presenter’s aid was her co-host Deric Hartigan with an umbrella that brandished the Ireland AM logo.
Once they got to their seats, Muireann’s mum was starstruck as she saw another Virgin Media star sat beside them.

Former Love Island winner, Greg O’Shea was beside the girls and he even posed for a sweet photo with Marie.
The pair grinned wide as Marie told Muireann: “He’s even better looking in real life. The telly didn’t do those eyes any justice.”
However, their smiles didn’t last for long as Cork shocked Limerick, booking their place in the All Ireland final and putting an end to their five-in-a-row hopes.
Despite the loss, the presenter affirmed her support for the county team with her Instagram caption: “What a game! We love you Limerick! Huge congrats to Corcaigh.
“Thanks @guinness_ireland for getting Marie to Croker today. She’ll be back with the lads next year!”
Friends and fans raced to the Ireland AM host’s comment section to gush over the pairs day out.
Muireann’s co-host Deric wrote: “Awhh devo. What a match.”
Tadhgh commented: “Now that the game is over, we can put our rivalry aside again… until next season.”
