Muireann worries outfit isn’t ‘appropriate’ for ‘posh’ day out as fans send help
IRELAND AM star Muireann O’Connell worried her outfit wasn’t ‘appropriate’ for her “posh” day out.
The Virgin Media star was back on air this morning with her usual weekday co-hosts Alan Hughes and Tommy Bowe.
Before the show began, Muireann tried on some outfits in the dressing room and asked her fans to help her choose one that would be appropriate to wear on a golf course.
The Limerick beauty wore black leggings, a black hoodie, a New York Yankees black cap and grey and pink trainers.
She took a video of herself in the rig-out and explained: “I’m going to play golf for the first time in my life today.
“Is this a golf outfit? Can I play golf in this? They always look like they’re heading off to work with the pants but I just thought I could wear a tracksuit?

“Am I going to be ran out of the place? I’m not posh enough for golf.”
Muireann then put on her glamorous work outfit which was a frilly yellow short-sleeve top, dark denim jeans and brown platform heels.
The popular host decided she will be keeping her chic look on for her after-work activities after getting her fans’ feedback.
She explained: “Everyone’s talking about a dress code at the old golf course. That’s why they always look like they’re off to work.”

Muireann jokingly added: “Guess I’m wearing the platforms and jeans swinging the ball. Golf Ireland Official are gonna be delighted they invited me.”
The dynamic trio were joined by new Taoiseach Simon Harris to discuss some serious issues yesterday.
Muireann took to Instagram before the show to tell followers about her outfit dilemma.
The Limerick native shared a stunning picture of herself relaxing at home and explained how she had planned to wear a simple look on air.
However, last minute the Irish host was told that the Taoiseach would be appearing in the Virgin Media studios for a chat.
‘TYPICAL’
Muireann joked in her caption: “An Taoiseach is joining us on the show and before I knew, I had jeans and a nice top outfit ready to go.
“But I can’t just be wearing jeans and a nice top for An Taoiseach. And I had nothing but fancy suits last week. Typical.”
The popular presenter shared some gorgeous snaps of the outfit she opted to wear on the show.
The 41-year-old looked incredible as she donned a figure flattering leather skirt and red long-sleeved top from Irish designer Karen Milen.
