Netflix Pitch Deck Reveals Cost of NFL Sponsorship

Regarding audience estimates for its first NFL games, the streamer is using previous Christmas Day games as benchmarks, including CBS’s 2023 matchup between the Las Vegas Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs and Fox’s matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles vs. New York Giants.

Both of those previous Christmas games averaged around 29 million viewers; however, Netflix is estimating an audience of 23.2 million, according to buyers, marking down the past viewership by 20% to account for any potential audience declines in its first year hosting NFL games.
