New coffee truck taking Galway by storm drops another location
A popular north Co. Galway coffee truck has announced their weekend schedule for all their caffeine-loving fans.
The newly opened truck by Slainte Café, run by Galway Senior Football goalkeeper Connor Gleeson, has been exceedingly busy since it launched and this week was no exception.
The truck will be open from 8am – 2pm and parked beside Dunmore graveyard on the Tuam Road.

The Sláinte Café truck will also be in the area from 9am – 2pm on Saturday at the town’s GAA pitch at the McHale’s grounds on Demesne View and from 10am to 3pm on Sunday.
It’s a fitting location as that’s where the business started out back in May and it’s the home club of owner Connor Gleeson.
Sláinte Caife opened on 10 Ma and just a week after Gleeson’s heroic last-minute winner against Mayo in the 2024 Connacht Senior Football Championship final at Pearse Stadium.
Gleeson bravely stepped forward to take a 50-metre free into a stiff breeze at Pearse Stadium as the Connacht final seemed destined for a draw. His monster kick sailed high and true, the white flag went up and Gleeson wrote his name into GAA folklore.
But he took another brave step, this time into the world of business. The truck will also be selling tray bakes from Taste bud Temptations.
In other local business news, shoppers in Galway will be delighted to hear that a beloved market is set to return to the city this summer.
That’s because the Summer market will return to Galway city every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday in July and August.
Locals and tourists alike can look forward to homemade crafts, gifts and some delicious food from the evergrowing food scene in Galway.
