New coffee truck taking Galway by storm drops another location

A popular north Co. Galway coffee truck has announced their weekend schedule for all their caffeine-loving fans.

The newly opened truck by Slainte Café, run by Galway Senior Football goalkeeper Connor Gleeson, has been exceedingly busy since it launched and this week was no exception.




The truck will be open from 8am – 2pm and parked beside Dunmore graveyard on the Tuam Road.

The Sláinte Café truck will also be in the area from 9am – 2pm on Saturday at the town’s GAA pitch at the McHale’s grounds on Demesne View and from 10am to 3pm on Sunday.

It’s a fitting location as that’s where the business started out back in May and it’s the home club of owner Connor Gleeson.

Sláinte Caife opened on 10 Ma and just a week after Gleeson’s heroic last-minute winner against Mayo in the 2024 Connacht Senior Football Championship final at Pearse Stadium.
