The 2024 NFL season is right around the corner, and the Los Angeles Rams are pushing to make another playoff appearance and Super Bowl run. The NFL released their full regular-season schedule last month, but not their preseason schedule.
On Friday, the NFL released the full 2024 preseason schedule. All times are set in ET.
- vs. Dallas Cowboys: Sunday, August 11th @ 4:30 PM
- at Los Angeles Chargers: Saturday, August 17th @ 7:05 PM
- at Houston Texans: Saturday, August 24th @ 1:00 PM
The Rams will take on both Texas teams as well as an “away” game at SoFi stadium against the Chargers.
While a lot of starters likely won’t play, this will be a good chance for some of the younger talents out of this rookie class like Kamren Kinchens, Brennan Jackson, Tyler Davis, and Jordan Whittington to try and lock up key roles in their first seasons. For others, like Russ Yeast and Derion Kendrick , it’s a shot at sticking on the roster in different roles.
I’ll be keeping an eye on how the depth of the defensive line and linebacker rooms look as the preseason goes on. All three of the Rams’ preseason opponents are physical teams that pride themselves on their running game and will be good tests for the Rams’ depth to open up the year.
